Intervale is a member of Russian Association of Networks and Services and a Sector Member of International Telecommunication Union, Telecommunication Development Sector (ITU-D). Recognising the prestige of the Company, the delegation of the Russian Federation recommended Intervale Deputy General Director Mr Bondarenko as Vice-Chairman for ITU-D Study Group 2, and his candidacy was approved at the fifth World Telecommunication Development Conference (WTDC-10) held in 2010 in Hyderabad, India.

Resolution 72 "More effective utilisation of mobile communication services" was adopted at the WTDC-10 at the initiative of the Company, that also proposed to adjust formulation of study question Q17-3/2 “Progress on e-government activities and identification of areas of application of e-government for the benefit of developing countries” to emphasise the role of mobile communications in provision of e-government services, where Intervale is currently coordinating the development of  the "Toolkit for ICT-based services using mobile communications."

Intervale has been actively involved in the work of the Telecommunication Standardization Sector (ITU-T), being the initiator and developer of standards for security of mobile transactions recommended by the ITU:

  • Y.2740 Security Requirements for Mobile Remote Financial Transactions in the Next Generation Networks (NGN).
  • Y.2741 Architecture of Secure Mobile Financial Transactions in the Next Generation Networks (NGN).
